I am Dr Amir Mostofi, the principal and sole practitioner at Provident Dental Surgery.
Prior to becoming a dentist, I have had academic training in the field of civil engineering and subsequently became more interested in that of dentistry. I obtained my qualifications as a dental surgeon from Lund University (Sweden) in 1997.
During 1999, I set up the Provident Dental Surgery. I am perhaps the oldest established dentist in Worthing town centre. A couple years later, other practices set up in the town centre as well.
I have always had a curiosity in challenging surgical procedures. In 2015, following an extensive post-graduation training period, I received a certificate in implant dentistry in Cambridge (Devonshire House).
Following such qualification, I entered further training, a Msc post-graduation course at University of Bristol. The Msc course is the highest academic clinical training in the field of implant dentistry available today worldwide. Currently, I am doing my final year in the Msc.
Meanwhile, I am doing a second post-graduation Msc course in Clinical orthodontics at the University of Warwick as well.
In the last few years, orthodontics and dental implantology have combined and the usage of orthodontic dental implants have become increasingly prevalent.
Orthodontic dental implants have created a vast horizon and innovative treatment options have become available. Some of these treatments were unheard of, or impossible to perform, just a few years ago. However, this science is very new and I hope that Provident Dental Surgery will be one of leading dental practices in England to provide the latest advances and lead the way in this modern field of science.
I assume the above has given you a good understanding of my practice. If there is a challenging case, you are most welcome to get in touch. In addition, in the practice website’s treatment page, you will find a full range of the treatments provided at Provident Dental Surgery.
